The rules and guidelines for using our platform

1 Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to FlourishEdge (https://flourishedge.co.uk), a UK-based IT & Engineering recruitment platform operated by Coded Vision Design (codedvisiondesign.co.uk).

By accessing or using the FlourishEdge platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Coded Vision Design ("we", "us", "our").

2 Account Registration

To access certain features of FlourishEdge, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account.

Minimum age: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the platform.

One account per person: Each individual may register and maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended or terminated.

3 Use of the Platform

FlourishEdge provides an online recruitment platform where you can:

Browse and search for IT & Engineering job listings

Apply for jobs by submitting your CV and details

Set up personalised job alerts

Create and manage your professional profile

Save favourite jobs for later review

Track application status and history

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time without prior notice.

4 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities when using FlourishEdge:

Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile, CV, or applications.

Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access, extract, or collect data from the platform.

Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users, hiring teams, or platform staff.

Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, or any malicious code.

Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, systems, or data.

Using the platform for any purpose other than genuine job-seeking or recruitment activity.

Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5 CV and Application Data

When you upload your CV or submit a job application through FlourishEdge:

You retain ownership of your CV content and personal data.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and share your application materials with the hiring team for the specific role(s) you apply to.
Your data will not be shared with any third parties beyond the relevant hiring team without your explicit consent.
You may withdraw, update, or delete your CV and application data at any time through your account dashboard.

6 Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the FlourishEdge platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design — are the property of Coded Vision Design or its licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You may not:

Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without our prior written consent.
Use our trademarks, branding, or logos without express permission.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.

7 Disclaimers

No guarantee of employment. FlourishEdge is a platform that connects job seekers with employers. We do not guarantee that you will receive interviews, offers, or employment through the platform.

Listing accuracy. While we endeavour to ensure that job listings are accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of information provided by employers. Listings are the responsibility of the posting party.

"As is" basis. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Coded Vision Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
We shall not be liable for any loss resulting from the conduct of other users, employers, or third parties on the platform.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

9 Account Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@codedvisiondesign.co.uk.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

You breach any provision of these Terms.
You engage in prohibited conduct as described in Section 4.
Your account has been inactive for 24 months (as outlined in our Privacy Policy).
We reasonably believe continued access poses a risk to other users or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

10 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the platform.

Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform and close your account.
